A few days ago, Siemens announced that group jointly-owned subsidiary of OSRAM researchers discovered a new dark red phosphors for led.
Siemens said the discoveries led a deep red phosphor of luminescent material is "stable", it is a nitrogen oxide, its wavelength 30nm higher than other materials. By leveraging high-throughput experimental research and development personnel (HTE) technology found this material, which can automatically assess different combinations of materials, without the need for manual testing. Researchers have analyzed more than 660 more samples from 12 different material combinations variants to determine light wavelength, light intensity and structural phase.
