EU approved acquisition of Philips Spain outdoor lighting group Indal

The European Commission said on Wednesday that it has under the EU merger regulations reviewed and approved by the Netherlands Philips (Philips) acquired Spain outdoor lighting group Industrias Derivadas del Aluminio SA (or Indal) program.
The European Commission said, the proposed transaction will not lead to competition problems, because the combined entity will face competition from other well-developed manufacturer is strong enough.
